What this site stores, why, and above all everything it does not do.
In short: no cookies, no trackers, no analytics, no advertising. Nothing you do here is passed on to anyone. The only information stored is stored in your browser, on your device, and serves only to bring back your display settings on your next visit.
This site sets no cookies. That is also why you see no consent banner here: there is nothing to consent to.
The site uses your browser's local storage, an area private to your device, to remember your display preferences. That information never leaves your device: it is not sent to the server, nor to anyone else.

None of these values identifies you, and none contains personal data. You can erase them at any time by clearing site data in your browser settings: the site will work exactly the same, with its default settings.
The fonts and display libraries the site uses are hosted here, not loaded from Google Fonts or a content delivery network. That is a deliberate choice: calls of that kind pass the visitor's IP address to a third party, on every page viewed, without their knowing. No page on this site does it.
Links to outside sites, such as Open Food Facts, the CIQUAL table or scientific publications, are only followed if you click them. Those sites then have their own privacy policy.
The site does not count its visitors, does not track their path through it, and uses neither Google Analytics nor any equivalent. Your internet provider's host may keep technical connection logs, as any web server does, but the site itself collects nothing.
Since the site collects no personal data, there is no record about you and no processing on which to exercise a right of access, correction or erasure. Because what the site stores sits on your device, you keep full control of it.
